Corporate Risk Solutions and Spektrum Labs Partner to Prove Cyber Resilience Across Investment Portfolios
Every holding validated daily against the same baseline and sealed as evidence that more than 20 of the largest cyber carriers accept in place of their cyber application questions
NEW YORK and CARMEL, Ind. – October 23, 2026 – Corporate Risk Solutions, LLC (“CRS”), an independent risk management and insurance advisor to investment firms and their portfolio companies, as well as global corporates, today announced a partnership with Spektrum Labs, which built the first cyber resilience proof engine and is backed by 25 patents. Through the partnership, CRS clients can now prove the cyber resilience of every entity / enterprise for which they are accountable. More than 20 of the largest cyber insurance carriers accept a Spektrum Passport in place of the cumbersome cyber risk questions on their applications, with associated preferential pricing and terms.
CRS has been guiding asset management and portfolio clients, as well as global corporates, for decades across the risk continuum. It views this partnership with Spektrum Labs as a unique opportunity for both asset management firms as well as commercial / financial companies to prove, rather than assert, the strength of their cyber safeguards to the insurance market.
Cyber resilience means three things: safeguards actually work and stay configured properly; backups are tested and ready to recover if those safeguards fail; and the promises made in an insurance application are met with mathematically irrefutable evidence, so any dispute is about the policy, never about the facts.
Spektrum Labs’ platform, Spektrum Fusion, proves all three. It connects to a company’s security tools and backup tools through read-only APIs, and validates every day against criteria grounded in cyber claims data. Each result is sealed as a Cyber Resilience Token™ in an append-only, Merkle-anchored ledger and can be shared with a click as a Spektrum Passport.
For investment firms, the security challenge has been accountability without operational control: a sponsor answers for resilience across a portfolio of companies it does not run, each on its own technology stack, and has relied largely upon what each company reports about its own security controls, posture and evolution. Whether an alternative asset manager or a corporate entity, Spektrum operates under a single contract across the full portfolio or engaged enterprise, with every holding validated daily against the same client-defined baseline, so the result is comparable and consistently verified rather than self-reported.
Carriers in the Spektrum network accept the Passport in lieu of the cyber questionnaire/applications and provide preferential pricing and terms, in writing. CRS will introduce the program to its clients of all types and continue to serve as their independent advisor, and each client’s placing broker can present the Spektrum Passport to the markets at their respective renewal.
“Our asset manager and individual corporate clients have struggled for years to best evolve and evidence the most robust security posture and protections across their respective investment portfolios and enterprises. Unfortunately, to date, that evidence has been static and based largely upon each company’s own security positioning & narrative. Spektrum gives us evidence that stands on its own: validated daily, sealed, and accepted by carriers. Every renewal evaluation and claim process can now begin with certified proof instead of a questionnaire,”
Kimberly Patlis Walsh, CEO & President, Corporate Risk Solutions
“Sponsors (and Corporate Security Executives) have been asked to oversee resilience on the strength of questionnaires. With CRS, that risk management input becomes sealed evidence: comparable across a portfolio / enterprise and accepted by the insurers who price the risks. We are enabling security proof to pay you back in upfront protection and at the time of a claim/breach,”
